Systems Engineer Avionics (m/w/d)

Your mission

  • Conduct tests on the avionics system for system safety-of-flight and for system certification.
  • Create/ review System Specifications and System Requirement Documents for build-to-spec suppliers
  • Generate Sketches for creation of Electrical Schematic Diagrams by Designers based on Block Diagrams (ESD) or other System Engineers’ input
  • Create Lab Test Programs for software test on hardware-in-the-loop test benches
  • Conduct Lab Tests on hardware-in-the-loop test benches
  • Define Ground and Flight Test Programs of Avionics System (Engineering and Certification Test Programs) in close coordination with the Compliance Verification Engineer
  • Perform Technical Checks of Electrical Schematic Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Material and Wire Lists
  • Create/review documents intended for showing safety of flight as well as compliance documents
  • Advise and assist Production Engineer to conduct avionic system tests on the prototype aircraft    

Your profile

  • A bachelor or master degree in electrical or aeronautical engineering, alternatively a similar degree or an adequate education / experience in the aeronautical industry
  • Experience with aircraft avionics system integration and certification per EASA CS23/CS25 and CS-ACNS
  • Knowledge of aircraft avionics system design and certification
  • Knowledge of EASA Certification process as well as Certification Requirements applicable to the avionics system
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of the English language, German language is a plus
